Thank you all for your support! Lets Celebrate IAU100 together!

Dear subscribers! Thank you very much for your best wishes and support in the past to bring astronomy and space science in Nepal! I started my journey doing astronomy and space science outreach in 2007 and in those years, I have been invited to visit all six continents of the world to share my experience and train/learn from people!

This year, the world is celebrating the 100th Anniversary of International Astronomical Union (IAU100) with different activities! Let's work together to share the opportunity to be together with the global astronomical community once again! We had an excellent International Year of Astronomy 2009 (IYA2009) and looking forward to making another success story from Nepal with IAU100 with the support, cooperation, and coordination from all of you!
With my new role as IAU National Outreach Coordinator for Nepal, I will be able to connect local, national, regional and international individuals, groups and organizations working in astronomy!

Portugal dissapointed France winning UEFA Euro2016!

Substitute Eder's thunderous finish deep into extra time secured Portugal's first European Championship title after they overcame the early loss of Cristiano Ronaldo to snatch a 1-0 smash-and-grab victory over hosts France on Sunday.

Eder picked the perfect moment to score his first competitive goal for his country, marauding forward before letting fly with a bullet shot from 25 metres in the 109th minute.
It was a cruel blow for France, who had dominated the match from and squandered a number of chances, in front of their devastated home support, who arrived at the Stade de France hoping to celebrate a third European crown.
The trophy was lifted by Ronaldo, who broke down in tears at the final whistle but whose game had come to a frustrating end after 24 minutes when he was carried crying from the pitch on a stretcher with a knee injury.
"There was a lot of suffering, a very intense game. We fought very hard," Portugal defender Pepe said.
"We had to work very …

Had Wonderful Time with SGC2012, UN/IAF Workshop and IAC2012 at Naples, Italy, Septmember 27-October 5, 2012

Hello readers,
I am back now from my 10 days trip to Italy and jet lagged from the trip. This was my first time to participate in the International Astronautical Congress ( IAC) which I could not attend last year! I was in Cape Town, South Africa, to attend Space Generation Congress in September 2011.
This year though I was not a delegate to Space Generation Congress ( SGC) I managed to attend the Gala Dinner which was organised on September 29, 2012 to meet some of my great friends who were not staying for the IAC next week!! For this I had to  miss another Gala Dinner organised by UN/IAF Workshop where I missed to interact with my new friends! It's always a matter of time and you don't get sweets in your both hand ;)

My participation to this great gathering was possible as I was invited by UNOOSA to attend UN/IAF Workshop 2012 during September 28-30, 2012. This workshop remained very fruitful to network with new people with our ideas and share our work as there were only~1…
